Lancashire Second XI were beaten in the second semi-final of T20 Finals Day at Arundel Castle by four wickets.
Batting first, Chris Benbow's side made a fast start but Alex Davies (11) was dismissed by Sakande.
Rob Jones (27) and Calum Turner (29) both made starts without pushing on and were dismissed in quick succession with the latter being run out.
Haseeb Hameed, coming in at four, hit a run-a-ball 26 which included a maximum, and there were late cameos from Luke Procter (19) and Josh Bohannon (15*) as Lancashire posted 149/5 off their 20 overs.
In reply, Sussex got off to a flier with Angus Robson and Luke Well at the top of the order.
Wells (25) was the first to be dismissed, with Bohannon catching him off the bowling of Liam Hurt, but Robson did the damage for Sussex.
Robson (90*) went to his half century before accelarating again as wickets fell around him. Bohannon took the wickets of Finch (3) and Rawlings before Procter dismissed Burgess (4) and Oxley (15) but Sussex reached the target with four balls to spare.
