2018 MRG Update

Members Representative Group Update

Everyone at the Club would like to thank the current members of the MRG, whose term finishes in the coming weeks.

Following communication to current members of the MRG, the Club is pleased to confirm that there are two places available on the Members Representative Group (MRG) that starts this season for a three year term.

The Club acknowledges that it could not have made the progress that we have without the support of the MRG. The Club has agreed upon a process for the future MRG structure, in terms of membership, approach and Club interaction going forward to enable us to prioritise appropriately to the key challenges in 2018 and beyond.

The MRG representatives are joined by four attendees from the Club and meet formally three times a year, with an aim to meet more regularly once all MRG members are in post. The Club sees the MRG as an important part of its communication process with Members and ensuring that there is a process and structure in place for regular dialogue, progress and decision making.

The selection process will be overseen by an independent nominations committee. Please review the Terms of Reference (TOR) below to consider whether you are able to commit to these.

If you wish to apply then please email membership@lccc.co.uk confirming your name, contact details, membership category and membership number with a brief paragraph on what you can specifically bring to the MRG, stating your full agreement to the TOR (see below), how you would refresh and enhance it going forward, and why you should be selected, by Friday 6 April at the latest.

The MRG will have the following key Terms of Reference.

The newly confirmed MRG will select their own Chair and Vice Chair.
