Lancashire v Durham

  • Durham have only lost once in their last five matches on the road to Lancashire; that one defeat did come in the most recent meeting however (W2 D2).
  • Lancashire have won their last two matches played in Southport; this will be Durham’s first visit to the venue in the County Championship.
  • Durham have gone nine games unbeaten heading into this encounter (W3 D6).
  • Durham’s Scott Borthwick hit centuries in both innings when these sides last met (May 2016); the only time he’s managed to post two separate hundreds in a first-class match.
  • Keaton Jennings has recorded five centuries in the County Championship this summer; more than any other batsman.
