After the announcement that Lancashire County Cricket Club batsman Haseeb Hameed will feature in England’s Test Match squad next month, Lancashire Head Coach and Cricket Director Ashley Giles and Club Captain Steven Croft spoke of their admiration for the young star.
Former England Head Coach and current Lancashire Head Coach and Cricket director Ashley Giles explained it as a ‘great honour for anyone’ to receive their England call up – with Lancashire Cricket Club Captain Steven Croft saying that the news was ‘thoroughly deserved’ after his outstanding season for the Red Rose.
