Buttler named in England squad for Pakistan ODI series
Lancashire wicket keeper Jos Buttler has been named in England's squad for the Royal London One-Day Series against Pakistan.
The 25 year-old has been out of action since breaking his thumb in Lancashire Lightning's NatWest T20 Blast victory over Worcestershire Rapids at New Road, whilst he still hit the Club's fastest ever half century off just twenty balls.
England National Selector James Whitaker is confident Buttler will be fit and ready for the series. “I spoke to Jos two or three days ago. He’s very happy and very comfortable. He’s been catching a lot of balls. Again our medical team have done a brilliant job, and he’s worked very hard. He’s a vital cog in our one-day team."
