England Tickets: Now on Sale

Tickets are now on general sale for England’s fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford in 2017 – with over 14,000 tickets already sold to Members and priority supporters for the Three Lions clashes against South Africa and West Indies, illustrating huge levels of early demand ahead of next summer’s internationals.

England will face a stern test in Manchester as they welcome the formidable South Africa for the Fourth Investec Test Match from Friday 4 – Tuesday 8 August, before the hard-hitting West Indies square off against the Three Lions in the First Royal London One-Day International on Tuesday 19th September.

Lancashire and England star James Anderson, speaking about the special atmosphere at Emirates Old Trafford and the prospect of facing South Africa next summer, said “The atmosphere is brilliant. It’s a really special test ground now and it’s somewhere all the England lads want to play.

“The series (between England and South Africa) over the last few years has been really exciting, and after we beat them in South Africa earlier this year, they will want to come over here and beat us. It should be an exciting series between two very good sides.

Anderson added, “If the Test Match and IT20 against Pakistan earlier this year is anything to go by, then it will be another fantastic occasion.”

The Fourth Investec South Africa Test Match is proving particularly popular with supporters with over 12,000 tickets sold across the opening four days. Tickets start from just £20 for adults and from £5 for juniors, whilst VIP Tickets start from £99 and hospitality from £249 + VAT.

As well as all the on-field action, there will be live music and an array of off-the-field entertainment in the renowned fan village. Can you afford to miss out on international cricket at Emirates Old Trafford when prices start from just £50 for two adults and two children?

Chief Executive of Lancashire County Cricket Club, Daniel Gidney, added: “We’re delighted there is such a high demand for both the South Africa and West Indies internationals next year.

“It’s been a while since we’ve hosted either of the sides but we are certainly looking forward to welcoming them to Emirates Old Trafford.

“Whether you want to watch the game with your family, come along with your friends and have a few beers or to experience one of our high end hospitality packages, international cricket at Emirates Old Trafford is a great occasion for everybody.”

Emirates Old Trafford will also play host to the England v West Indies Royal London ODI, with the Caribbean outfit looking strong in white-ball cricket after reaching the final of the Tri-Series tournament, including South Africa and Australia in June – and also winning the ICC World T20 final back in April.

The Three Lions will no doubt hope to get revenge over their rivals from the Caribbean after that memorable ICC World T20 final in India which ended in agonizing heartbreak for England as Carlos Brathwaite scored four back to back sixes in the final over to fire West Indies to glory.
