Lancashire and Prodo Launch Brand New Website
LANCASHIRE COUNTY Cricket Club has teamed up with Chester-based digital agency Prodo to launch its brand new website ahead of the cricket season which gets underway at Emirates Old Trafford this Sunday.
After a competitive pitch, Prodo, who also have offices in London, undertook comprehensive research with Lancashire Members and other stakeholders to build a modern, user-centric, adaptable website that reflects Lancashire’s burgeoning presence in the digital landscape and meets the varying requirements of all of its users.
The new website is built using an innovative personalisation engine, which ensures that each user receives a completely personalised journey depending on their browsing habits, making for a truly fan centric experience.
The site will also give a truly exciting web experience for those who cannot attend a match in person by integrating with industry experts OPTA to bring ball-by-ball live match updates alongside game, season and player statistics.
In the coming weeks, Prodo will also be launching a new website for Emirates Old Trafford to help generate increased revenue for the Club’s non-match day sales, which includes conferences, dinners, exhibitions, weddings, Christmas parties, private parties, meetings and training across four versatile spaces holding from 10-2000.
Lancashire’s Chief Executive, Daniel Gidney, said: “We wanted a website that offered as much information as possible to our users in a modern, fresh and presentable manner.
“We recognised that our existing website hadn’t evolved with the rapidly advancing technological trends in the marketplace and, after a very competitive pitch, Prodo were clear winners.
“They had workshops with a section of our Membership so that we were able to better understand what visitors to our website wanted.
“The match day centre is a crucial aspect to our website and we delighted that we’ll be able to present detailed information about each match in real time.
“We were delighted with Prodo’s development delivery and we are thrilled with the end product.”
