  • Souvenir Cups

    Souvenir Cups

For the 2018 season, all Foster’s Fan Village and concourse bars will no longer serve drinks in single use plastic cups.

These have been replaced by a more sustainable, reusable souvenir cup which celebrates Lancashire and England cricket legends who have graced the sacred turf at Emirates Old Trafford.

To support the initiative, Lancashire Cricket Club has launched a #TakeMeHome campaign, which aims to encourage fans to share images of themselves using the cups in locations outside of the ground, for the chance to win a signed Lancashire bat.

Simply take a snap of yourself with your new cup, share online with #TakeMeHome and you could WIN!

    ORDERING YOUR FIRST DRINK

When you arrive at a bar to purchase your first drink of the day, the price of each of your drinks will include a £1 deposit for a reusable, souvenir cup.

Gone are the days of boring, flimsy, see through cups.

You can now enjoy your ice cold drink under the summer skies whilst looking back at some of Lancashire’s greatest ever players. Sit back, relax and drink it all in!

    HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?

The deposit for a pint or half pint is just £1.

    FANCY ANOTHER DRINK?

After you have purchased your first drink, you will be able to exchange your cup for a fresh one without paying an additional £1 deposit. Simply turn up to the bar, make your order, and we will serve your drink in a fresh new cup...Easy!

    WANT YOUR £1 BACK?

Don’t want to take your cup home?...You sure?

If you would like to return your souvenir cup (boo!) and reclaim your £1 deposit, you just need to return it to one of our designated return points located around the ground which will remain open until 30 minutes after the close of play.

These will be clearly signposted. If you are having trouble locating our return points, please speak to one of our friendly stewards.

CAN I TAKE MY CUP HOME?

You can! We are encouraging fans to take their souvenir cups home in a bid to help us reduce our plastic waste and help the environment.

Take home memorabilia from your unforgettable day at our iconic stadium this summer, and don’t forget to share your photos using #TakeMeHome for a chance to WIN a signed bat!

Note, you will not be able to collect your £1 refund if you are taking the souvenir cup home.

    WHY NOT DONATE YOUR CUP?

The Club is also using the initiative to help support Lancashire Cricket Foundation, by offering exiting fans the chance to donate their cup (£1) at drop-off points around the stadium. All funds will go towards the charitable arm of the Club, which aims to change lives through the power of cricket.
