Parry stars in comfortable Second XI victory
Lancashire Second XI completed an emphatic victory over Roses rivals Yorkshire on the final day at Todmorden Cricket Club.
Mark Chilton's side declared overnight on 148/3 and set Yorkshire a target of 380 to win. The visitors made the perfect start as Toby Lester took two early wickets as Yorkshire were reduced to 16/2.
Callis (45) and Waite (67) rebuilt the innings for Yorkshire and the pair put on 89 for the third wicket but Stephen Parry took his first of the day trapping the former LBW.
The Yorkshire innings collapsed and the Lancashire spin duo of Arron Lilley (3/40) and Stephen Parry (5/33) bowled brilliantly on a turning track after lunch.
The hosts collapsed from 123/3 to 203 all out and Lancashire completed a comfortable 176 run victory.
