Alex Davies has been named April's Player of the Month, sponsored by LeasingOptions.co.uk, after hitting two centuries in the opening three Specsavers County Championship games of the season.
The Lancashire wicket keeper overcame opposition from Liam Livingstone, Jordan Clark and Ryan McLaren to win the award after hitting two centuries in the opening three games.
The 22 year-old hit his maiden First Class century against Essex at Chelmsford before hitting another ton two weeks later at Emirates Old Trafford in Lancashire’s win over Somerset. The wicket keeper batsman, who was injured for the majority of last season with a knee injury, has also contributed with 84 runs in the opening two Royal London fixtures of the season against Leicestershire and Yorkshire.
He has also impressed behind the stumps taking 23 catches and three stumpings in all competitions so far.
