WATCH: England v South Africa, second NatWest IT20

Highlights England v South Africa, second IT20 at the County Ground

South Africa leveled the series with a thrilling three-run victory over England in the second NatWest IT20 at the County Ground, Taunton on Friday 23 June.

The visitors were much improved following their nine-wicket defeat against England at the Ageas Bowl on Wednesday 21 June, and it was Captain AB de Villiers who led the charge for South Africa smashing 46 off just 20 balls.

Yet there was still plenty to celebrate during the game, especially for Lancashire who saw Red Rose graduate Liam Livingstone receive his first international cap following his outstanding performances for the England Lions.

The series is now up for grabs going into the third and final game at Cardiff, with England and South Africa level on 1-1.

What the Captain’s said:

England Captain Eoin Morgan on Sky Sports: "When Jason got out, no-one seemed to take the reins from then. That's disappointing. Given the position we were in, we should have won."

South Africa Captain AB de Villiers: "Our game plans were better and we had better energy with the bat and ball. We showed the South Africa never-say-die attitude.

"We've had a tough month here so that win means a lot to us. We love sport, there's great love for the game of cricket back home, and to see us come out on top means a lot."
