Luke Procter joins Northants on a three-year contract
Lancashire County Cricket Club can confirm that all-rounder Luke Procter has signed a three-year contract with Northants Cricket.
The 29 year-old, who was a graduate of Lancashire’s Academy and Scholarship programmes, made 124 appearances for the Club in all competitions. Procter spent the last month of the 2017 season on-loan at Northants in Division Two and hit three half centuries.
Procter signed his first professional contract in 2010 and played seven games in Lancashire’s title winning campaign in 2011 where he hit 366 runs and took nine wickets.
Luke Procter said, “It’s not been an easy decision to leave Lancashire as it’s my boyhood Club and I’m very proud to say I’ve played for the Red Rose. I have some great memories and friends after nine years with the Club.
“I am very grateful for the support Lancashire has given me throughout my career and I’m looking forward to a new challenge at Northants.”
The Club would like to thank Luke for his contributions over the past nine seasons and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
