Second XI Report & Scorecard - Leicestershire vs Lancashire
Simon Kerrigan (6/26) and Matthew Parkinson (4/46) stole the show on Day Two as Lancashire continued to dominate Leicestershire in the three-day Championship match at Desborough CC.
Lancashire were bowled out for 271 in their first innings after 100 overs, a lead of 107 after an impressive half century from Matthew Breetzke.
In Leicestershire's second innings, their opening batsman put on 68 before Matthew Parkinson took the opening wicket, dismissing Ben Curran for 33.
That started the collapse for the home side as Parkinson took two further wickets to leave Leicestershire 89/3.
Simon Kerrigan came into the attack and stole the show for Lancashire taking the next six wickets in a devastating 15 over spell. Leicestershire collapsed from 89/3 to 142 all out with Parkinson taking the final wicket.
