Worcestershire Rapids T20 washed out at New Road
Lancashire Lightning's NatWest T20 Blast clash against Worcestershire Rapids was called off without a ball being bowled due to the weather.
The Rapids had lost their opening three matches of the season in the competition against Birmingham Bears, Leicestershire Foxes and Derbyshire Falcons - all at New Road.
For Lancashire, the wash-out was particularly frustrating as they looked to build on their third placed spot in the North Group.
They had already trounced the Rapids at Emirates Old Trafford in the Royal London One-Day Cup.
But there was never any chance of the two teams taking the field and the umpires were left with little choice but to formally call the game off at 6.45pm.
Lancashire will next be in T20 Blast action against Durham Jets at Emirates Old Trafford on Sunday.
