Following the ECB's announcement recently of its proposed approach for the new eight-team domestic competition, based on the simple format of 100 balls for each team, starting in 2020, the Lancashire Chief Executive, Daniel Gidney, spoke to BBC 5 Live Extra's Kevin Howells on Friday afternoon about the new competition.
Gidney talks about how the Club supports the new competition and also about how important the Specsavers County Championship is alongside the new competition for the more traditional cricket Members and supporters.
