The Emirates Golf Club hosted Lancashire Cricket Club’s pre-season Golf Day on Saturday in Dubai, sponsored by Heineken.
12 members of the Lancashire playing and coaching staff were joined a number of different sponsors and partners in Dubai including Kukri, Heineken and William Hare as the group played on the famous Faldo Course. The course was redesigned in 2005 by golf legend and six-time major winner Nick Faldo.
The round of golf was followed by a BBQ provided by Emirates Golf Club, where the full Lancashire squad, as well as Chief Executive Daniel Gidney, joined the players who had participated earlier to mingle with the Club’s sponsors and guests.

Warren Hegg, Head of Cricket Business, said, ”It has been a fantastic day for all the players, coaches and our partners.
“I would personally like to thank Emirates Golf Club and Heineken for their support of the event, following on from last year’s successful inaugural pre-season Golf Day.
“We have a fantastic relationship with Heineken and it’s brilliant that they support the Club’s pre-season tour out here in Dubai. We’re very lucky to have a partner such as Heineken that works so closely with us and we hope everyone enjoyed the day.”
The Lancashire squad return to red-ball action tomorrow as Glen Chapple’s side take on the UAE National team in a two-day fixture, hosted at the ICC Academy.
