England U19 call for George Lavelle
Lancashire Cricket Academy's wicket keeper batsman George Lavelle has been called up to the England Under-19 Test match squad for their upcoming series with South Africa.
Lavelle will join up with his international teammates ahead of the first Test which starts on Sunday at Scarborough CC.
The 18-year-old has been in fine form for the Academy and Club side Ormskirk this season, striking 100 from 80 balls earlier this week against a Staffordshire Development XI. He has also featured in the Second XI this summer.
