England v Australia ODI: Last tickets coming soon
Final tickets on sale for England vs Australia ODI at Emirates Old Trafford
The last limited number of tickets for England’s Royal London One-Day International against Australia on Sunday 24 June at Emirates Old Trafford will be going on sale from midday on Monday 12 February.
Due to the unprecedented demand for this game and with tickets selling out in record time, the Club has re-designed the Fosters Party Stand to create a bigger stand than that used in 2017.
The tickets are priced from £49 and can be purchased online or calling the Ticket Office on 08444 999 666.
This fixture will see the highest attendance at Emirates Old Trafford for an international fixture since the 2013 Ashes and follows on from last year’s record T20 Blast match attendance outside of London (and Finals Day) for the Roses fixture against Yorkshire with 19,641 supporters attending.
The Foster’s Party stand is perfect for supporters who want to experience cricket by watching the action in a vibrant party atmosphere with likeminded fans, and is located next to the Fan Village which offers entertainment, live music and a wide range of food and drink options. England’s football World Cup fixture against Panama, which is also on Sunday 24 June, will be shown on the big screens in the Fan Village and on televisions around the ground.
The Club has explored all options in terms of extending the Fosters Party Stand, and is delighted that this fixture will give more fans access to watch this unmissable fixture between England and Australia at Emirates Old Trafford.
Anthony Mundy, Operations Director at Lancashire Cricket Club, said, “We have worked hard over the past month to identify the best possible solution of increasing the ground capacity for this fixture due to the exceptional public demand. We’ve gone into great detail with the Fosters Party Stand D and we’re delighted to have been able to extend the ground capacity to 22,000.
“This is the earliest we’ve ever sold out for a One-Day International fixture at Emirates Old Trafford, and we’d encourage supporters who would like to attend to book their tickets during this final release phase as soon as possible to avoid missing out. This fixture will be a complete sell out and we’re already looking forward to what will be a fantastic showcase day of international cricket in Manchester.”
