Hameed and Lavelle hit half centuries for Second XI
Haseeb Hameed and George Lavelle both hit half centuries on Day Two of Lancashire's Second XI Championship match against Notts at Liverpool CC.
Jack Morley took an early wicket to wrap up the Notts innings, as they were bowled out for 410.
In reply Lancashire made a solid start as Rob Jones (31) and Hameed put on 90 for the first wicket.
However, both were dismissed in quick succession, Hameed for a solid 57 from 71 balls, including 12 fours.
At 105-3, Shivnarine Chanderpaul (44) and Lavelle came together and the pair played nicely to move Lancashire beyond 150.
Lavelle, who was later joined by Sam Perry (42), brought up his half century but was dismissed shortly after by Lyndon James for 54.
By the time Lancashire declared in order to have a short bowling session at Notts in the evening, they had reached 316-9, still trailing by 94 runs.
Notts survived a tricky short four over session to end the second day on 11 without loss, with a lead of 105.
