Lancashire players visit King’s School in Dubai
Toby Lester, Liam Hurt and Chris Benbow run coaching session at a school in Dubai
The Red Rose duo of Liam Hurt and Toby Lester joined Second XI Coach Chris Benbow in taking a coaching session with pupils at Kings' School Al Barsha on Sunday morning.
The Lancashire squad, who are currently in Dubai on the Club’s pre-season tour, gave a coaching masterclass to pupils from the school, in partnership with the Club's official kit supplier Kukri Sports.
Following the session, Lester and Hurt then took part in a Q&A session with the pupils with opportunities for the children to have photos and selfies with the Lancashire players.
Andy Ronnie, Chief Executive at Kukri Sports said, "It is a fantastic opportunity for these children to meet a couple of Lancashire players and work with them.
"It's not an experience that comes around everyday so we really hope the kids enjoyed it."
Lancashire bowler, Liam Hurt commented, “It was a great morning down at Kings' School today.
"It was nice to see how many children are enjoying their cricket here and there were a couple of very talented young players too.
“It’s always nice being able to give something back to children who love their cricket and it really is the least we could do whilst we're out here on pre-season tour in Dubai."
