Lancashire trio star in England Lions win
Lancashire batsman Alex Davies was named Player of the Match as England Lions beat Pakistan A by 6 wickets in Dubai on Tuesday to level their five match One Day series at 1-1.
The hosts had won the first game by 187 runs and after winning the toss and once again electing to bat first the Lions could have been forgiven for expecting the worst.
However, Mahmood took three wickets to finish as pick of the England bowlers with 3-59 from his 10 overs, to help restrict the hosts to 289-7 despite Mohammad Saad's 117.
Davies and Tom Kohler-Cadmore (30) put on 74 for the first wicket to get the Lions run chase underway, with Sam Hain (69) and Joe Clarke (41) putting the visitors in reach of their target.
It was then left to Livingstone, who finished unbeaten on 29 from 22 deliveries, and skipper Gregory to see their side home in the 48th over.
The third 50-over match of the series will take place in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
