Lancashire skipper injured on opening day
The Club can confirm that Lancashire Captain Liam Livingstone has fractured his left thumb on the opening day of the Specsavers County Championship clash against Yorkshire at Emirates Old Trafford.
The batsman, fielding at slip, sustained the injury whilst attempting a catch in Yorkshire's first innings. He did not bat in Lancashire's first innings as the hosts were bowled out for 109.
