Lancashire's Second XI were held to a draw by Gloucestershire, despite a superb 254 not out from Rob Jones.

Jones and Lancashire added some quick runs to reach 662/6, before declaring as the Red Rose looked to bowl Gloucestershire out on the final day.

It wasn't to be as favourable batting conditions saw Gloucestershire reach 261/3 with a century from wicket keeper James Bracey.

Danny Lamb (1/29) and Tom Hartley (2/55) claimed the Lancashire wickets on the final day of a match that will be remembered for Jones' fine knock.
