Second XI on top following Day Two
Lancashire's Second XI bowled Middlesex out on Day Two of their four-day friendly at Radlett CC, following a washed out opening day.
After winning the toss and electing to field, Lancashire made early in-roads through spinner Mark Watt and George Balderson.
Middlesex had reached 195-4 in the afternoon session, before Liam Hurt and Zahir Khan both produced superb spells to bowl the hosts out for 242.
Hurt finished with figures of 4-73, while Khan (2-64), Watt (2-42) and Balderson (2-25) shared the remaining wickets between them.
Despite losing Karl Brown (18) cheaply, Lancashire made solid progress with the bat.
The Red Rose closed the day 151-3, following Balderson's 62 and an unbeaten 53 from Brooke Guest.
The visitors still trail by 91 runs, but with batting still to come, will be looking to build a strong lead on Day Three.
