Alex Davies makes his return from injury for Second XI
Alex Davies hit a half century on his return for Lancashire during yesterday's Second XI T20 double header against Scotland A at Blackpool Cricket Club.
In the opening game, Scotland won the toss and elected to bat first but George Burrows, who has just signed his first professional contract with the Club, took an wicket in just the second over, dismissing Carson cheaply.
Stephen Parry strapped fellow opener Harris for 14 to leave the visitors 38/2 in the fifth over.
Scotland's number three, Dylan Budge, played positively from the outset and he went on to top score with 88 from just 52 balls.
Burrows was Lancashire's stand out bowler taking 3/14 from three overs and Scotland A hit 153/7 from their 18 overs.
Lancashire opened the batting with the returning Alex Davies and Ed Fluck and started nicely.
Fluck (13) was the first man to go, and Guest (6) and Lavelle (0) followed shortly after to leave Lancashire 73/3.
Davies, on his first game back since April after breaking his right thumb, hit 63 from 38 balls as the Red Rose finished on 150/8, three runs short of the total.
In the second game, Scotland once again won the toss and elected to bat first.
Opener Carson impressed striking 86 from just 52 balls and was well supported by Budge (53) as Scotland posted 177/5 from 20 overs.
Toby Lester took 3/35 from four overs.
In reply, Alex Davies hit a quick fire 21 from nine deliveries but Lancashire lost early wickets to leave the hosts 30/3.
Brooke Guest (43) played nicely and was supported by Parry (30) but Lancashire were bowled out for 139 after 19 overs.
