England complete thrilling series win
Another super over victory hands England a 3-2 IT20 victory over New Zealand, sealing a comeback from a 2-1 deficit
England's IT20 series against New Zealand finished with another thrilling super over win as they claimed the series 3-2 at Eden Park.
After Chris Jordan saved his side's pursuit of 146 with 12 off the final three balls to draw level, he was again the hero by defending 17 comfortably to seal victory.
In a match reduced to 11 overs, England were originally set 147 to win by the hosts following powerful knocks by Martin Guptill, Colin Munro and Tim Seifert.
Lancashire's Saqib Mahmood claimed the key wicket of big-hitter Colin de Grandhomme for six, caught by James Vince.
Jonny Bairstow led the reply with 47 off just 18 balls, smashing five maximums in the process, with Sam Curran promoted up the order and adding 24 off just 11 balls.
When Jimmy Neesham removed Tom Curran with three balls remaining, however, it looked like the hosts would run out as series winners until Jordan's intervention.
Bairstow and Eoin Morgan both struck sixes to lift England's super over total to 17, one more than the dramatic ICC Cricket World Cup finish earlier this year.
And Jordan defended it with ease, handing Morgan's young side a highly impressive series win.
The Test series is due to begin on Wednesday 20 November, with the first warm up game commencing this evening (11 November).
