England Test tour of Sri Lanka confirmed
Chris Silverwood's side will travel for a two-Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship
The schedule for England Men's two-Test tour of Sri Lanka in March 2020 has been confirmed.
The two Test matches will both form part of the ICC World Test Championship, and as such will each be worth 60 points.
The first Test will be played at the Galle International Stadium (19-23 March), the second in Colombo at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (27-31 March).
They will be preceded by a three-day warm-up match and a four-day warm-up match respectively.
Joe Root's side currently sit fifth in the ICC World Test Championship table, on 56 points, after drawing the Specsavers Ashes series 2-2 this summer.
It completes a busy winter for the national side, who first face trips to New Zealand and South Africa.
The series will then lead into home series' against West Indies and Pakistan in the 2020 domestic summer, with Emirates Old Trafford hosting the second Test against the latter between (7-11 August).
