England win the ICC Cricket World Cup at Lord's
Buttler stars as England win ICC Cricket World Cup
England won the men's ICC Cricket World Cup for the first time after beating New Zealand in one of the most dramatic victories in the history of the game at Lord's on Sunday.
Both teams hit 241 from their 50 overs which meant the Final was decided by a Super Over.
England went on to score 15 in their super over with Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes at the crease.
New Zealand needed two runs to win from the final ball, but New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill scored one before being run out, calmly by Buttler.
That meant the super over scores were tied, and England won the title after a wait of 44 years on virtue of having scored more boundaries in the match.
