Former Players Association meet during T20 match
The Association, headed up by Warren Hegg, was restructured earlier in the year
The second meeting of the Lancashire Former Players’ Association took place during Lancashire Lightning’s Vitality Blast match against Leicestershire Foxes at Emirates Old Trafford.
Former Lancashire wicketkeeper and current Head of Cricket Business, Warren Hegg, restructured the Association earlier this season, with the first meeting taking place during the Royal London One-Day Cup.
And another successful meeting took place during the Foxes match as ex-players enjoyed pre-match hospitality in The Point before taking in the action.
Mike Watkinson, Phil DeFreitas, Ian Austin, Paul Horton and Chris Schofield were among the many ex-players in attendance.
Watch the video below from the day as DeFreitas and Gary Keedy discuss the second meeting of the Association and the importance of such events.
