Four wickets for Onions on Day Two of Second XI fixture
After dominating with the bat on the opening day, Lancashire's seamers took control on Day Two of their Second XI Championship match at Leicestershire.
Graham Onions, Toby Lester and Tom Bailey shared eight wickets between them as Leicestershire were forced into the follow-on at Kibworth CC.
The home side resumed on 28-2, trailing the Red Rose by 343 and a stubborn morning partnership was broken when Haseeb Hameed run out Hassan Azad for 23.
From that point, Onions (4-44), Lester (3-32) and Bailey (1-33) led the Lancashire charge, with young spinner Jack Morley picking up the other wicket as Leicestershire were bowled out for 199 and asked to follow-on.
Lancashire claimed a further two wickets in the evening session, Morley (1-5) and Tom Hartley (1-27) as Leicestershire closed on 63-2 in their second innings, still 109 runs in arrears as the Red Rose look to wrap up victory on the final day.
