Good workout for Second XI bowlers on Day Two of Yorkshire clash
Hartley claims four wickets at Scarborough
Lancashire's Second XI took nine wickets on the second day of their friendly against Yorkshire at Scarborough as the match ended drawn.
Following the agreement that both team's would bat for one full day each, Day Two was the Red Rose's turn with the ball.
After top scoring with 54 on the opening day, Tom Hartley claimed 4-85 with his left-arm leg spin.
Young seamers Ben Aitchison (3-53) and Ben Gibbon (1-43) impressed early on, getting Lancashire off to a quick start removing Yorkshire's top three with just 11 on the board.
Half centuries for Tom Loten (51) and Matthew Revis (59) helped the White Rose to rebuild as they supported Jordan Thompson who struck 103.
But Lancashire fought back hard as Hartley claimed his four wickets with Nick Greenwood (1-47) also getting in on the act.
The close of play came after 96 overs with Yorkshire ending 335-9, a good workout for both team's ahead of the new season.
