Here are the nominations...
The captain has enjoyed another stellar month, both in the Vitality Blast and one Specsavers County Championship match during the month.
His only First-Class outing of the month ended up in a magnificent career-best score of 266 at Glamorgan, the highest by a Lancashire number six in First-Class history, to set his side en route to a thumping innings win.
Vilas has also been consistent in the Vitality Blast, scoring 151 runs including a vital 46 in the thrilling home win over Notts Outlaws.
The all-rounder has been a key figure in the Vitality Blast side, putting in performances with both bat and ball.
He started the month with a quickfire 70 in the win at Durham and ended it with another half-century, this time against Derbyshire Falcons, before adding 28 more in the final group match against Leicestershire Foxes.
Livingstone has added 10 wickets in the month with his mixture of leg spin and off spin, with a best of 3/38 against Birmingham Bears at Edgbaston.
The Australian all-rounder is an influential part of Glenn Chapple's side and put in a number of big performances over the course of August.
Most memorable was the 73 scored in the comeback home win over Notts Outlaws, with Maxwell steering the Lightning away from trouble before taking four catches as they defended the total.
He added 79 in the ultimately unsuccessful chase at Birmingham but his 208 runs in the month have come at an average of over 40, while he's added five wickets with his off-spin.
Last month's Hilton Garden Inn Player of the Month has been excellent again for Glenn Chapple's side, finishing the group stages as the joint-leading wicket-taker in Vitality Blast.
Parkinson added 15 more wickets to his tally in the month, including a best of 4/30 against Durham at Emirates Riverside - the venue for the Lightning's quarter-final against Essex Eagles.
