Mahmood makes England bow
The Lancashire seam bowler made his international debut during the second IT20 against New Zealand
Saqib Mahmood has become the latest Lancashire player to make his England debut after featuring against New Zealand in Wellington.
The right-armer was the 89th England IT20 cap, which was presented to him by Lancashire legend David Lloyd before the match.
And he picked up his first international wicket, too, as the Blackcaps hit back to square the series with three games to play.
Tim Seifert was the man to fall to Mahmood, gloving an attempted ramp to wicketkeeper Sam Billings.
The Lancashire man scored four with the bat as England were bowled out for 155, 22 runs shy of the target for victory.
England are back in action tonight (Tuesday 5 November, 1am start) with Matt Parkinson also hopeful of selection for an international debut.
