Second XI batsmen face final day fight at Liverpool
Wickets tumble on Day Two of Championship fixture
Richard Gleeson (4-40) and Stephen Parry (3-37) were both amongst the wickets but Lancashire's Second XI face a fight to save the match on the final day of their Championship clash against Northamptonshire.
Northants resumed Day Two on 50-1, and still trailing by 134 first innings runs, but they were pegged back by strong performances with the ball from both Gleeson and Parry.
George Burrows (1-19), Tom Hartley (1-27) and Jack Morley (1-8) all shared a wicket each too, as the Red Rose dismissed the visitors for 200 - just 16 more than their 184.
However Lancashire's top three were all dismissed cheaply by Northants opening bowler Brett Hutton to leave them struggling on 6-3.
George Lavelle (15*) and Sam Dorsey started the rebuilding job, however Dorsey fell for 13 just before the close of play.
Lancashire ended the day on 45-4, with a slender lead of just 29 runs and facing a battle to save the match ahead of the final day at Liverpool CC.
