Squad named for One-Day Cup opener
Royal London One-Day Cup - Lancashire vs Worcestershire
Glen Chapple has named a 13 man squad for Lancashire's Royal London One-Day Cup opener against Worcestershire Rapids at Emirates Old Trafford tomorrow (Wednesday).
Australian World Cup winner Glenn Maxwell will make his One-Day debut for Lancashire having played in the Specsavers County Championship win at Middlesex.
Matthew Parkinson is fit again and in contention after missing out on the opening Championship game following a nasty jaw injured suffered on tour in Dubai last month, whilst James Anderson is in line for his first One-Day appearance for nearly two years.
Alex Davies has been ruled out after being struck on his left index finger last week at Lord’s. The 24 year-old is seeing the Club’s hand specialist again this week.
Richard Gleeson (back), Danny Lamb (neck) and Toby Lester (hamstring) also miss out and are all currently undergoing rehabilitation with the Club’s Medical team.
