Cricket unites behind charity auction
Lancashire Cricket are one of a number of counties to donate prizes to the #TogetherThroughThisTest charity auction
Signed shirts from England internationals Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Jack Leach are amongst the lots in an online charity cricket auction supported by all 18 first class counties in partnership with the ECB, PCA and MCC.
A catalogue of 62 lots are now open for bidding at cricketauction.co.uk where cricket fans can also secure international match hospitality experiences at Emirates Old Trafford, Lord’s, Kia Oval, Trent Bridge, Edgbaston and Emerald Headingley.
Lancashire have donated three lots to be auctioned off:
- Full hospitality for two at the England vs India Test in 2021
- Two 2021 Vitality Blast tickets with a behind-the-scenes tour of Emirates Old Trafford
- A signed bat from the entire Lancashire Cricket squad
All donors have nominated a charitable cause to receive the proceeds from their lots. Proceeds from Lancashire Cricket's donated prizes will be split between North Cumbria University Hospital NHS Trust and Lancashire Cricket Foundation.
The auction forms part of the Together Through This Test campaign, cricket’s co-ordinated response to Covid-19 that seeks to highlight initiatives across the professional and amateur game.
