Back in 2016, a Joe Root-inspired wrapped up an emphatic win on Day Four in the second Test against Pakistan at Emirates Old Trafford following an unexpected defeat at Lord's.
Leg-spinner Yasir Shah led them to victory in London but England responded in fine fashion at the home of Lancashire Cricket, led by Root's career-best 254.
England dominated from the moment Root entered the crease and the bowlers did a fine job to keep Pakistan from having a chance of saving the game.
