Flintoff completes Cricket Expo line-up

Lancashire and England legend to speak at this weekend's Cricket Expo

Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff has been confirmed as the fourth and final keynote speaker at the Lancashire Cricket Expo.

Flintoff, 42, will be in conversation with Head of Cricket Business Warren Hegg at 3.15pm on Saturday 29 February.

The former Lancashire and England all-rounder completes a line-up which includes some of world cricket’s biggest names at Emirates Old Trafford on Saturday 29 February and Sunday 1 March.

Flintoff joins James Anderson on Saturday with David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd and Michael Vaughan addressing attendees the following day.

Jos Buttler will also be in attendance on Saturday for photo opportunities alongside the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy and a batting masterclass in the Trafford Cricket Centre.

Flintoff made 79 Test match and 141 ODI appearances for England, played a vital role in the famous 2005 Ashes success and was subsequently named Sports Personality of the Year.

A product of the Lancashire Academy, Flintoff made 220 appearances for the Red Rose across all formats before he was appointed onto the Club’s Board in 2017.

Following his retirement from sport, Freddie joined the panel of BAFTA-winning A League of Their Own and is currently co-presenter of BBC Top Gear alongside Paddy McGuinness.
