'It's strange' - Dane Vilas speaks on COVID-19 pandemic
The Club captain speaks to Sky Sports News about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the week Lancashire's season was supposed to begin
Lancashire Cricket captain Dane Vilas has reflected on a 'strange' time during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic - and urged the Club's supporters to continue to follow Government advice.
Speaking in the week in which Lancashire's Specsavers County Championship campaign was due to start against Kent, Vilas spoke to Ben Ransom of Sky Sports News in a wide-ranging interview.
In it, the 34-year-old discusses what it is like to be a sportsman during lockdown, how he is keeping fit and how he is keeping in touch with his team mates during these unprecedented times.
The wicketkeeper also praises Red Rose team mate Jos Buttler for auctioning off his matchworn ICC Cricket World Cup final shirt in order to raise funds for the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals charity, and urges people to maintain the advice of Government officials.
