Lancashire wrap up final day virtual win

Lancashire wrap up final day virtual win

It was all done and dusted inside the first session as Lancashire's supporters lead the Red Rose to a virtual victory over Kent

Some lesser-spotted right-arm medium from Jos Buttler helped Lancashire wrap up a huge 210-run win in the virtual Specsavers County Championship opener against Kent.

Owing to an overwhelming majority voting for it on Twitter, Buttler was handed the ball on Day Four with the visitors having little prospect of registering a positive result.

And Buttler struck with the final wicket to round things off, trapping Adam Riley LBW to seal the win before 1pm.

Josh Bohannon and James Anderson were the other wicket-takers, with the Red Rose only needing nine wickets due to a Kent injury in the first innings.

BBC Radio Manchester's Scott Read once again provides the light-hearted commentary for the final day, including a surprising Man of the Match award for Bohannon.
