Liam Livingstone ready to seize England opportunity

Liam Livingstone ready to seize England opportunity

The Lancashire man could play his first international cricket in four years during England's T20I series in India

Liam Livingstone is ready to make the most of his international recall

Speaking to the media ahead of the start of England's five-match T20I series in India, the 27-year-old - who is joined in the squad by Lancashire teammate Jos Buttler - said he feels he now belongs on the international stage.

Livingstone made two T20I appearances for England against South Africa back in 2017 - but hasn't played international cricket since - and the Lancashire all-rounder believes he is a much more mature cricketer second time around.

His eye-catching performances in the Vitality Blast - at the top of the Lancashire Lightning order - have earned opportunities in T20 leagues around the world but Livingstone insists he is now ready to make his mark on the international stage.

England's five-match T20I series in India gets underway on Friday (12 March) at 1.30pm on Sky Sports Cricket.
