Matt Parkinson's winter on the subcontinent
The Lancashire spinner chats to Warren Hegg from England's bio-secure bubble in Ahmedabad
Matt Parkinson has lifted the lid on his winter spent travelling the subcontinent with England's Test match side.
Parkinson was named amongst six reserves to travel to Sri Lanka and India as part of the touring party alongside England's 16-man squad.
While his on-field action has been limited to just a handful of intra-squad warm up matches, the 24-year-old speaks positively about his experience of getting to grips with Asian conditions and working with England's Spin Bowling Coach, Jeetan Patel.
Parkinson also discusses life on tour in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and how he has faired with bubble-life in Galle, Chennai and now Ahmedabad.
Following their 2-0 victory in Sri Lanka; England currently trail India 2-1 heading into the final match of the Test series which gets underway this Thursday (4 March).
