Outlaws match abandoned without a ball bowled
Both times take a point each after a grim afternoon of weather in Aigburth
Lancashire Lightning's Vitality Blast match against Notts Outlaws was abandoned without a ball bowled at Liverpool CC.
The first of three Lancashire home fixtures scheduled for Aigburth, rain swept in shortly before midday and barely relented throughout the afternoon.
With puddles forming on the outfield, the umpires decided to abandon proceedings and leave the North Group leaders with a point apiece.
Lancashire are back in action here on Friday against Derbyshire Falcons, who they defeated by four runs at Emerald Headingley two days ago.
The return Vitality Blast fixture between Lancashire and Nottinghamshire takes place next Friday (11 September) at Trent Bridge.
