Specsavers County Championship 2020 shirt revealed
The shirt is inscribed with a quote from Red Rose icon, Jack Bond, and will be work in First-Class cricket this year
Lancashire Cricket is delighted to reveal the Club’s 2020 Specsavers County Championship shirt – inspired by a quote from Lancashire legend, Jack Bond.
This season’s shirt is inscribed with a famous quote from Bond inside the collar: “The traditions of this great Club are in your hands”.
The inspirational quote appears on the walls inside the home changing room at Emirates Old Trafford in Bond’s own handwriting.
Bond captained the iconic One-Day side of the 1970s and is widely regarded as one of the most influential captains in the Club’s history. He was also inducted into the Hall of Fame last month.
Hilton Garden Inn, who have been a partner of Lancashire Cricket since 2017, will once again be the front-of-shirt sponsors for the 2020 Specsavers County Championship campaign
Meanwhile, Club partner C&C Insurance Brokers, a long-term supporter of Lancashire Cricket, will feature on the back of the shirt for the four-day campaign, both in 2020 and 2021.
A short sleeved classic cricket jersey engineered for comfort and performance with a classic polo collar, combining timeless elegance with contemporary piping in traditional Lancashire red alongside the iconic red rose feature in this year’s County shirt.
