Bohannon: 'Like a kid again' after Lions call
Josh Bohannon has been discussing his first call-up for the England Lions, as he prepares to travel to Australia alongside England's Ashes squad.
Bohannon - along with Lancashire teammates Saqib Mahmood and Matt Parkinson - leaves the UK today (4 November) to travel Down Under to train alongside, and provide cover, for England's Ashes squad.
James Anderson also travels with the main touring party today, while Jos Buttler will join up with the squad after finishing T20 World Cup duties in the UAE.
Bohannon, 24, has been rewarded with a first Lions call-up following a fine 2021 season which saw him score 853 runs at an average of 53 - including centuries against Yorkshire and eventual champions, Warwickshire.
