Emirates Old Trafford set to welcome fans back for the first home Roses County Championship clash since 2018
Priority access to the iconic Lancashire v Yorkshire match is now available to Official Lancashire Cricket Members.
Emirates Old Trafford is preparing to welcome back fans for Lancashire Cricket’s LV= Insurance County Championship fixture against Roses rivals Yorkshire from May 27-30, following the Government’s easing on COVID-19 restrictions from May 17.
Lancashire Cricket have made a limited number of tickets available to 2021 Members from 13 May, with remaining tickets going on general sale on Monday 17 May.
With tickets expected to be in high demand, for the first LV=Insurance County Championship fixture at Emirates Old Trafford between Lancashire and Yorkshire since the 2018 season, the only way to guarantee your ticket for the fixture is by joining as an Official Lancashire Cricket Member. It’s been 130 years since the first Roses fixture took place in the then newly constituted County Championship, with the inaugural First-Class fixture between Lancashire and Yorkshire dating back to 1849.
Local pride and bragging rights will be at stake, in addition to valuable points, in Group 3 of the LV= Insurance County Championship, with Lancashire currently leading the way and Yorkshire in second place.
In 2021, all 18 First-Class Counties will have the opportunity to win the title. The 18 Counties have been split in to three groups of six with the top two teams from each group moving into Division One for the second phase of the competition and the chance to reach the season-ending Bob Willis Trophy final at Lord's.
