Liam Livingstone 'fully fit' after injury scare
England Captain Eoin Morgan has confirmed that Liam Livingstone will be fit for the ICC T20 World Cup campaign after leaving the field injured during Monday’s warm-up defeat by India.
The Lancashire all-rounder was forced off in the 16th over of the Indian innings after hurting a finger while dropping Ishan Kishan.
Speaking on Tuesday afternoon, however, Morgan confirmed to the media that Livingstone was “fully-fit”, having suffered only bruising.
Before going off against India, Livingstone had struck 30 off 20 balls and bowled two excellent overs, conceding just ten runs and picking up the wicket of Virat Kohli.
The Lancashire duo of Livingstone and Jos Buttler have both been named in England's second warm-up game against New Zealand today (Wednesday) before starting their campaign against West Indies on Saturday.
