Nottinghamshire 2nd innings 101-3 lead by 205 runs, Clarke 22* James 4*
The game has reached a bit of a stalemate in the last 45 minutes with just 16 runs scored as Notts build their lead above 200 and Lancashire are bowling straight and giving the hosts batsmen few scoring opportunities.

And we've had the ball changed.

George Lavelle has little choice but to hit out with the injured Saqib Mahmood at the other end but he nicks a big swish to wicketkeeper Tom Moores off Luke Fletcher after making a really good 32.

Lancashire have conceded a big first innings lead and have it all to do if they are to rescue something from this game.

Tom Bailey is lbw for 0 to Dane Paterson as this innings continues to subside.

Lancashire 1st innings 124-7 trail by 148 runs, Croft 13* Lavelle 0*
Dane Vilas didn't look thrilled with that decision, he's lbw for 15 offering no shot to Brett Hutton who now has 5-50. Goes without saying really that's a massive blow straight after lunch.

1.20pm, 40.3 overs
Lancashire 1st innings 124-6 trail by 148 runs, Vilas 15* Croft 13*
Steven Croft has come out after lunch and showed positive intent from the off, in fact he's scored all the runs so far this afternoon.

12.15pm, 35.0 overs
Lancashire 1st innings 93-5 trail by 179 runs, Vilas 7* Jones 4*
Dane Paterson is finding some movement with this ball and has beaten the bat a number of times in his latest spell which has now ended, Steven Mullaney taking over as we head towards lunch at 12.30pm.

11.35am, 26.0 overs
Lancashire 1st innings 72-3 trail by 200 runs, Lamb 14* Bohannon 25*

10.30am, 11.2 overs
Lancashire 1st innings 32-2 trail by 240 runs, Balderson 19* Lamb 5*
Brett Hutton took both wickets to fall last night and he's bowling the first over to nightwatchman Danny Lamb who drives the second ball of the day for four.

10.00am
Tom Bailey and Danny Lamb took four wickets each to spearhead a great Lancashire fightback after Nottinghamshire had seized the early initiative yesterday.

Now it's the batsmen's turn to try and better Notts first innings 272 but the Lancashire reply has not got off to a good start with two wickets down for 28 and we trail by 244 runs.

There is no immediate news on Saqib Mahmood who is being assessed after pulling up with a side strain yesterday. Steven Croft was the other injury concern but he did return to field and bowl late on yesterday.

It's a bright and sunny day at Trent Bridge and we get under way at 10.30am.
