Livingstone smashes England's fastest IT20 hundred
Lancashire all-rounder sets records tumbling in the first IT20 against Pakistan at Trent Bridge
With England chasing a mammoth 233 for victory; Liam Livingstone cut loose reaching 50 from 17 balls and then three figures from just 42 balls - both all-time England records.
The 27-year-old from Barrow struck six fours and nine sixes and registered a strike rate 239.53 during the record breaking onslaught, which thrilled the Trent Bridge crowd.
Livingstone was caught on the boundary the ball after reaching his century - looking to go big down the ground once again - and England fell short by 31 runs.
But it's a night that will leave long in the memory for Livingstone - making just his sixth IT20 appearance - as he looks to cement a place in Eoin Morgan's squad for October's World T20 in the UAE.
Livingstone was joined in the side by Lancashire teammates Saqib Mahmood and Matt Parkinson - to make it a Red Rose trio in the first IT20 of a three-match series which concludes at Emirates Old Trafford next Tuesday.
Mahmood ended with bowling figures of 1/46, while Parkinson went wicketless but continued his longest run of appearances in England's white ball sides.
England are back in action in the second IT20 at Headingley, on Sunday.
