Second XI T20 double header to take place behind-closed-doors
Lancashire Cricket can confirm that tomorrow’s (Thursday 3 June) Second XI T20 double-header against Nottinghamshire will take place behind-closed-doors.
Following on from one positive COVID-19 case by a visitor to Emirates Old Trafford on Wednesday last week, a number of Lancashire Cricket staff will now be isolating. As a precaution, and to ensure the safety of all employees and spectators, the Club has taken the decision to play the Second XI T20 double header tomorrow behind-closed-doors.
This does not impact on Lancashire Lightning’s Vitality Blast fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford next week against Derbyshire Falcons (Wednesday 9 June) and Leicestershire Foxes (Thursday 10 June) where the Club will have a reduced capacity crowd in line with Government restrictions.
